The HAB Herrmann Hyper Medozon Comfort is a CE certified Class IIb ozone-oxygen therapy device, notified to the Medsafe WAND database under the Medicines (Database of Medical Devices) Regulations 2003. It is available exclusively to registered health practitioners through OTMed NZ.

Hyperbaric MAHT capability
The Hyper Medozon Comfort has been specifically engineered for Hyperbaric Ozone Therapy. Ozone concentration is continuously controlled via an integrated UV analyser, with a range of 1.0–80 µg/ml and a fixed flow rate of 1.0 l/min. A repeating function allows multiple passes to be performed efficiently without manual reset.
Integrated pump with safety monitoring
The device's built-in pump continuously monitors for air traps during reinfusion and shuts off automatically upon detection. Hyperbaric MAHT infuses the ozone-oxygen mixture into the blood under mild hyperbaric pressure, increasing the ozone volume absorbed into the whole blood compared to conventional normobaric MAHT. This can reduce treatment time in a busy clinical setting.
Precision ozone generation
The stainless-steel ozone tube, combined with fully ozone-resistant materials throughout, produces ozone at a tolerance of ±1%. Any concentration within the 1.0–80 µg/ml range is achievable at the same 1 l/min oxygen flow without manual adjustment. Concentration is input via the integrated colour touchscreen (available in English and other languages) and controlled automatically by the built-in analyser.
Repeatability
The device's bespoke software and integrated analyser automatically compensate for external factors that affect ozone concentration — including temperature, pressure and flow variation — delivering consistent, reproducible output across treatments.
Reliability
Unlike conventional ozone tubes, the Herrmann tube design is thermally stable and not subject to performance variation with temperature change. The device can operate continuously for up to eight hours at maximum concentration (80 µg/ml) without degradation in output.
