Medozon Compact

The HAB Herrmann Medozon Compact is a CE certified Class IIb ozone-oxygen therapy device, notified to the Medsafe WAND database under the Medicines (Database of Medical Devices) Regulations 2003. It is available exclusively to registered health practitioners through OTMed NZ.

Intuitive operation

The Medozon Compact features a straightforward menu and navigation system designed for ease of use in a clinical setting. Multi-lingual operator guidance is provided on-device. Ozone concentration is input via number keys, infinitely adjustable between 1.0 µg/ml and 80 µg/ml. All connections are Luer-Lock for maximum compatibility with standard disposables and accessories. The entered concentration is automatically measured and controlled by the integrated analyser, with a fixed flow rate of 1.0 l/min.

Precision ozone generation

The stainless-steel ozone tube, combined with fully ozone-resistant materials throughout, produces ozone at a tolerance of ±1%. Any concentration within the full 1.0–80 µg/ml range is achievable at the same 1 l/min oxygen flow without manual adjustment — the device manages this automatically.

Repeatability

The device's bespoke software and integrated analyser automatically compensate for external variables that affect ozone concentration — including temperature, pressure and flow — delivering consistent, reproducible output across treatment sessions.

Reliability

The Herrmann tube design is thermally stable and not subject to performance degradation with temperature variation. The device can operate continuously for up to eight hours at maximum concentration (80 µg/ml) without any reduction in output quality.

Ozone-oxygen therapy is a complementary medical application intended for use alongside conventional medicine. Use of this device should be in accordance with the instructions for use and within the practitioner's registered scope of practice under New Zealand law.
